Overview
Through photography, Sara A. Tremblay explores the ‘by proxy’ portrait of a person. Using light, objects and settings that evoke the pictorial genre of still life, the artist addresses grief and seeks to capture the spectral presence and memory of a lost being. Inspired by the loss of her dog Délima (an adorable dachshund), Tremblay creates a visual poetry that highlights the unique nature of our cross-species relationships.
