Sameer Farooq

Sameer Farooq’s exhibition examines the colonial foundations of museums and their collections. Through installations, photographs and sculptures, the artist explores how cultural objects and artefacts convey human narratives that are often overlooked by official history. By viewing artefacts as relational interfaces rather than through the lens of rigid taxonomic classification systems, Farooq challenges traditional ways of understanding history, culture and material heritage.
