Dans ce projet de film en trois parties, l’artiste\u00a0<\/span>Anton<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span>Vidokle<\/span><\/b>\u00a0sonde l’influence du\u00a0<\/span>cosmisme<\/span>\u00a0sur le XXe si\u00e8cle en \u00e9voquant sa pertinence pour notre temps. Le premier volet revient sur les fondements de la pens\u00e9e\u00a0<\/span>cosmiste<\/span>\u00a0(This Is Cosmos, 2014). Le deuxi\u00e8me explore les liens entre la cosmologie et la politique (The\u00a0<\/span>Communist<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Revolution<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Was<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Caused<\/span>\u00a0By The Sun, 2015). Dans le troisi\u00e8me volet, on met en sc\u00e8ne le mus\u00e9e comme lieu de r\u00e9surrection, une id\u00e9e centrale du\u00a0<\/span>cosmisme<\/span>\u00a0(<\/span>Immortality<\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span>Resurrection<\/span> for <\/span>All!,<\/span>\u00a02017).<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Combinant essai, documentaire et performance,\u00a0<\/span>Vidokle<\/span><\/b>\u00a0cite les \u00e9crits de Nikola\u00ef Fedorov, fondateur du\u00a0<\/span>cosmisme<\/span>, et d’autres philosophes et po\u00e8tes. Des steppes du Kazakhstan jusqu\u2019aux mus\u00e9es de Moscou, sa cam\u00e9ra errante cherche des traces de l’influence\u00a0<\/span>cosmiste<\/span>\u00a0dans les vestiges de l’art, de l’architecture et de l’ing\u00e9nierie de l’\u00e9poque sovi\u00e9tique.
