Dans le cadre d<\/span>e notre<\/span>\u00a0s\u00e9rie<\/span>\u00a0d\u2019exposition<\/span>s<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Nouveaux publics<\/span><\/i>\u00a0vou\u00e9<\/span>e<\/span> \u00e0 la jeunesse, <\/span>Construction<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/i>propose<\/span>\u00a0une installation immersive<\/span>\u00a0qui<\/span>\u00a0promet de\u00a0<\/span>stimule<\/span>r<\/span>\u00a0l\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat des jeunes et des moins jeunes envers l\u2019art contemporain.\u00a0<\/span>Cette installation prend la forme d\u2019une architecture virale,\u00a0<\/span>farfelue<\/span>\u00a0et foisonnante, \u00e9chafaud\u00e9e \u00e0 partir de mobilier issu de l\u2019ancienne biblioth\u00e8que de l\u2019Universit\u00e9\u00a0<\/span>Bishop\u2019s<\/span>\u00a0et des r\u00e9serves du centre d\u2019\u00e9conomie sociale Estrie<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Aide. R<\/span>econnu pour r\u00e9inventer les espaces mus\u00e9aux en architectures\u00a0<\/span>d\u00e9brid\u00e9es<\/span>\u00a0o\u00f9 il fait bon d\u00e9ambuler, participer et se perdre<\/span>,\u00a0<\/span>l\u2019artiste\u00a0<\/span>Jos\u00e9 Luis Torres revisite dans ce projet\u00a0<\/span>in-situ\u00a0<\/span><\/i>les coulisses mat\u00e9rielles de notre\u00a0<\/span>environnement<\/span>\u00a0imm\u00e9diat (l\u2019Universit\u00e9\u00a0<\/span>Bishop\u2019s<\/span>\u00a0et la Ville de Sherbrooke) afin de susciter un rapport renouvel\u00e9 \u00e0 la culture mat\u00e9rielle qui habite notre quotidien.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Jos\u00e9 Luis Torres<\/strong> est n\u00e9 en Argentine. Il d\u00e9tient un baccalaur\u00e9at en arts visuels, une ma\u00eetrise en sculpture et une formation en architecture ainsi qu’en int\u00e9gration des arts \u00e0 l’architecture. Il vit et travaille au Qu\u00e9bec depuis 2003.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Ses \u0153uvres ont \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9sent\u00e9es dans le cadre de nombreuses expositions individuelles et collectives, au sein d\u2019interventions publiques ainsi qui au cours de r\u00e9sidences d\u2019artistes \u00e0 travers le Canada, l\u2019Argentine, les \u00c9tats-Unis, le Mexique et l\u2019Europe.\u202f<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
